Vinda held a ceremony to celebrate the completion of its 120,000 tons capacity enhancement project in Jiangmen on Apr 7th, 2009. Government leaders and management of the Group,including Deputy Secretary of Jiangmen Municipal Committee Tan Jizu and Chairman of Vinda Li Chaowang, attended the ceremony. 

With a total investment of USD150 million and a coverage area of 113000 ㎡, the project had been planned to complete within 5 years. Now, the project finished 1 year ahead, making Vinda’s capacity to 180,000 tons in this district. Shuangshui factory became the largest production site for Vinda in China.   

In Jiangmen, Vinda worked on our commitment for sustainability by using after heat from the Shuangshui power plant to produce paper with steam.

Vinda has focused on expanding our business for the last 5 years. On Nov last year, 40,000 tons capacity came on stream with the completion of the Zhejiang project. Vinda is gradually building up production bases across the country, which will help fortify Vinda’s leading position in the market. 

In future, Vinda will continue to work for the capacity target of 500,000 tons.
