Demonstrates its compliance duty of significant tax contributions
of over RMB100 Million

(8 March 2011 – Hong Kong) Vinda International Holdings Limited (“Vinda International” or the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries collectively known as the “Group”; stock code: 3331), a leading manufacturer and branded seller of household paper products in the PRC, is pleased to announce that the Xinhui District Committee and District Government, Jiangmen, Guangdong, has awarded the Group with the “Golden Banyan Award” in recognition of the Group’s substantial tax contributions of an aggregate amount of approximately RMB120 million from its three subsidiaries, which are located in Xinhui District, Jiangmen, Guangdong, including Vinda Paper (Guangdong) Company Limited, Vinda Paper (Jiangmen) Company Limited, and Vinda Trade Company Limited, to the Xinhui District Government, Jiangmen, in the past year.

The “Golden Banyan Award” is purely made of gold, featuring “The Birdie Paradise”, the landmark of Xinhui. It is presented by the Xinhui District Committee and District Government to recognize enterprises’ significant contributions to the economic development of Xinhui District, particularly for those companies that have paid over RMB100 million in taxes in a year. The award symbolizes the government’s wish that the business development of these companies may achieve the “Bayan Effect”, rapidly growing bigger and stronger like a flourishing tree of the Birdie Paradise”.
